Mr. Gurpreet Singh serves as the President of the Chamber of Commerce & Industry for Facility Management & SMB (CCIFMSMB), where he provides strategic leadership to advance the interests of India’s facility management ecosystem and small and medium businesses. In this role, he is actively engaged in strengthening industry–government dialogue, promoting professional standards, and fostering a sustainable, inclusive growth framework for service-led sectors that are critical to India’s urban and economic infrastructure.
As President, Mr. Singh champions capacity building, policy advocacy, and industry collaboration, with a strong focus on formalisation, skill development, and innovation across the facility management and SMB value chains. His leadership reflects a commitment to creating platforms that enable enterprises—particularly MSMEs—to scale responsibly, enhance operational excellence, and align with evolving regulatory, ESG, and governance expectations.
Complementing his chamber leadership, Mr. Singh is a seasoned design professional and the Founder of Aakar Design Consultants, a New Delhi–based architectural and design consultancy established in 1988. With over three decades of professional experience, he has led diverse projects spanning architecture, planning, and design advisory, combining creative vision with practical execution.
Known for his holistic design approach, Mr. Singh integrates aesthetics, functionality, sustainability, and regulatory compliance into every project. He has guided multidisciplinary teams, engaged closely with clients and stakeholders, and consistently delivered solutions that balance contemporary design sensibilities with long-term utility.
